Having problems with your Kodak EasyShare DX6490 Digital Camera ?

Dark Pictures Hi. 2-3 years ago my Dad bought a Kodak EasyShare DX6490 and it's worked just fine in the past. Now, unless you have full sunlight and a very bright day, it takes dark pictures. I was out today in the snow and took several pictures with it. While they look okay on the viewing screen, when I get them onto the computer, they're very dark. Can you help me? Thanks ever so much! I have a Canon A720IS 8.0 meg camera that I'm having problems with. I have tried several SC cards; 1 gig and 8 gig. Same results. The pictures and video look fine on the LCD, but when I download to the Canon program, or any other program I have: Picasso, Microsoft, etc. I get the same weird results. Some pictures are okay, however, most are "redone". The result is that some of the picture is okay, but some is realigned. They are always straight lined corrections. When I try to take a picture, the LCD displays a lot of colorfull squiggly lines instead of the scene that I want to capture. When I turn it ON, the Zoom lens extends normally, then the colored lines appear with the following settings on the screen. Auto, 1M 178, ISO 400, ! plus a hand icon, AUTO, 4, F2.8. No matter which mode I choose, the same thing happens. Looking through the EVF shows the same thing. Note; I can view several good pictures that I took before the problem showed up. If I

I took several pictures this morning. Then I plugged the camera into the cradle and pressed USB port and connected the line from the cradle to the computer, an operation I have completed numerous times. This time nothing happened. No "import" showed up. I looked at help in iPhoto. It said to turn on the camera. I tried, but it would not turn on. I took it off the cradle and tried many times. No luck. Have I somehow accidentally locked the camera? Does it even have a lock feature?

Zoom my camera isnt an olympus FE - 230 digital camera, its a kodak M836, i can look at my pictures okay, but i cant take any, as when i turn it on to take a picture the lens goes out, and then back it and it switches off. it is nothing to do with the battery as i have charged it several times. - my dad thinks that it goes back in because there is some sand inside (as we recently went on a beach holiday) and that the sand is stopping the zoom from coming out all the way, so it goes back in, alth

I just received my Nikon D3100 in the mail today, and I was so excited. When I opened the lens cap on the camera body to put the lens on a small, clear-ish rectangle fell out. It was surrounded by a thin cooper colored frame that is easily removable. It looked like a little magnifying glass so I am kind of nervous. It seems to shoot pictures fine, but some times it tells me the shot is to dark even though I am in full light. It also took black pictures the first few times and if I point it di

Blue photos Can anyone tell me some reasons why some outdoor shots I took of snow/trees, etc. might look blueish? I took some pictures at sundown that came out fine, and ones I took about 10 minutes later look blue. I don't recall changing any settings. I also took similar shots at the same time with another digital camera and those looked fine. Is this something that's common in low light with a lot of white background? (Or is this a "user problem?")

Snow pictures tend to be blue due to the blue spectrum being scattered and reflected from the snow (similar to why the sky is blue). Plus just after sunset, you're going to get a cooler color temperature (blue cast).\015\012\015\012However, instead o ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 Digital Camera
