Camera does not read SD Memory Card

\015 I just bought the camera. I cannot do anything with it, as it reads "internal memory is full." I have inserted a new 2GB SanDisk SD card, but I am still stuck. Right now, the camera is stuck on internal memory full. What can I do?\015\012Carolyn Walker\015

Answers :

Thank you so much this worked great it solved my problem thanks.
Eventually you need to go into the menu of the camera and tell it that it should use the memory card and not the internal memory to store the images.

There should be a menu entry "image storage" where you can select
- Automatic
- internal memory

I guess his menu entry is set to "internal memory" in your case. Set it to "automatic" and it should recognize your SD card.

If this is not sufficient, you may have to format the card:
go to the setup menu and choose format. Take care format only the memory card otherwise he images stored on the internal memory are lost.
