Picture too light
\015 Why is a picture too light?\015
The cause and solution may include one of the following:\015\012\015\012The flash is not needed. Change to Flash Off or decrease the flash compensation in any of the PASMC modes (certain cameras only). \015\012The subject was too close for flash. Move so that the distance between you and the subject is within the effective flash range. \015\012There is too much light. Decrease the exposure compensation. If you use flash, adjust the flash compensation in any of the PASMC modes (certain cameras only). \015\012Auto-exposure was not set. Press the shutter button halfway and hold. When the AF/AE indicator turns green, press the shutter button completely down to take the picture (most cameras).

This is to inform that I am having Casio Digital Camera Exilim EX-Z500 for last few years. The same was giving very good pictures, but last week, it suddenly started malfunctioning. Whenever, we took indoor pictures, they were coming out well as per attached pictures (CIM2831 & CIM2826) but when the camera was taken outside in the day light, though the picture was very clear on the LCD screen but after clicking, the picture is overshadowed with white light (as per other attached pictures).
Some things to try:\0121. Go into the menu and find "reset" to return to factory default settings.\0122. Check the ISO setting....you may have it set too high for outdoor pictures.\0123. Check the "exposure compensation"...it should be at "0". ... Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera

Indoor Photography I have a Sony DSC-P1 3.2 Mega Pixels camera. I've owned it for 3 years now and have been happy with it. However, one thing that I've noticed is that sometimes when I take pictures indoors with limited light, the quality of the picture isn't very good (it's sort of fuzzy). When the lighting is better (such as outdoors), the quality is outstanding (crisp and clear) and produces beautiful pictures. This issue regarding taking pics indoors or in lower light - is this a camera qual

Olympus stylus zoom 140. Camera was great for about 2 years, pictures were great. My last two rolls of film developed with large, orange light streaks running vertically just to the right of center. Additionally, there were several "blobs" of orange light left of center. This occurred on 90% of the pictures, the remaining 10% were fine. Is this a light leak in the camera body? Canon SD600 I used my camera to take pictures of fireworks and I noticed that afterwards, all the photos I was taking outside in daylight were turning white. My Canon EOS rebel suddenly won't take pictures in dim light. The flash pops up and blinks and blinks trying to register the image but won't ever autofocus and take the picture. The light has to be very bright for it to take a picture. I have gone through all of the settings and everything seems to be correct. Any thoughts?
To autofocus the sensor needs a fair amount of contrast (light and dark eges) to operate. Problematic Camera I have a EasyShare DX4530 which has suddenly started acting funny. I first experienced a problem with my Canon S2Is camera when it was only taking pictures of blank images. I found a "fix" recommendation which seems to have gotten rid of the black image problem. Also, if I am taking a picture outside or in a lot of light, the image ends up being extremely light. Have any suggestions?
