Having problems with your Kodak EasyShare V1003 Digital Camera ?

V1003 Both of my v1003 will not turn on. i have charged the battery. the newest one is only 3 months old. what should i do?

Answers :

Hey eah226,
\015\012 I would first make sure the battery is inserted correctly, and if this isn't the problem I would remove the batteries and try plugging the camera in with the ac adapter and see if the camera turns on with it plugged into the wall. If the camera does turn on this way I would try cleaning the battery contacts with an eraser. If none of this works I would have the cameras looked at by an authorized service technician such as bringing them in to a Geek Squad® precinct at a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. The 3 month old camera is still covered by the manufacturers' warranty and any repair would most likely be free. I hope this helps!

I have a Kodak Z1015IS, about 16 months old, that has not been subject to any type of liquid or damage. Hi. My Nikon Coolpix s6000 works nice but has one problem--it tends to turn off fairly often on its own. The camera is about 2 months old and the battery is fully charged, yet when reviewing pictures or getting ready to take a picture, it will just turn off unexpectedly. You're right, it could be a shorted circuit, bent usb pins (rare), or a faulty usb cable, but most likely the battery terminals could be slightly dirty, or oxidized. In that case, you have to clean them with a qtip and alcohol. Also make sure y ... Digital Cameras
