Having problems with your Kodak EASYSHARE Z1485 IS Digital Camera ?

Don't know how to take close-ups of objects.

\015 Have a Z1485 IS, How can I take good detailed close-ups of small objects and or printing?\015

Answers :

Don't go too close to the object, since the lense works similar to the eye. EX if you put something mm. away from the eye it appears blurry and hard to see.
\015\012You need a certain distance and then use the zoom untill you have the desired image.
\015\012In SCN there is a special option for close up pics.
\015\012
\015\012Pls. rate me good if any of these tricks have been useful for you.
\015\012Good luck
I used the above solution and it worked. I did not zoom in too much, as the more zoom I used the photo became slightly fuzzier. I used the Program/micro focus.
\015\012
\015\012If you are like me and want to fill a picture with a flower, you'll have to go back and edit down the photo after.

I just found my husbands old Minolta maxxum 5 AF Zoom lens camera. I don't know how to zoom in. I am trying to take close ups of my infant and it appears that I can only zoom in on objects 4 feet away. Anything closer is out of focus. Can someone please give me a brief "how to" on this camera? Thank you

It's not the fault of the camera itself, it's a lens issue. Zoom lenses can only get so close before the min focus is obtained. Unless you have a macro lens (not suited for portraits, which can focus down to mere inches. Most zooms aren't really desi ... Digital Cameras

Canon 1400 IS: When I take a picture using flash of a close up object, a shadow is cast on the lower right corner of the picture. For pictures that are not taken close up with flash, or taken from further away and just zoomed in to the object, does not have this issue. Do you know what could be causing this shadow issue?

It's most likely the shadow of the lens. The flash is above and to the left of the lens, so the shadow of the lens will be to the right and below. ... Digital Cameras

Blurry photos I love my A80. I know it's best to use a tripod to avoid camera shake but I can't always use a tripod when taking photos of my active toddler. I like to do close ups of her face and her playing but pics of her are blurry and this is a disappointment. What setting do you recommend?

Automatic "Portrait" mode would work best for what you describe. It's the setting showing the profile of a woman on your mode dial. Try it both with and without flash (press the "lightning bolt" button on the back of your camera). ... Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera

Slider Prob I've had my S30 for quite a while and lately i've had some problem with the slider opening up. Dont know if something got in between the slider and the cam or something. Anyway with some trouble i could still open up the slider and thus start up my cam but then one day when i was trying to close my cam i started to slide it to close. Finally it closed and i slided the slider onto the lens but then the lens started to open up again. But the slider was in the way so the lens opened up

I'm prety sure it hasnt always been this slow.. I got a new battery etc.. Thanks!

Most cameras take a little longer to capture the photo in darker conditions, with a moving subject, things like that, though if the photos you're taking now are under the same conditions as the ones you used to that shouldn't be the issue.
