Camera I have an olympus camera. I dropped it at a party a few months ago, and the screen cracked on the inside, but it didn't affect the pictures, they came out fine. When I was on vacation, my camera started acting wierd. When I turn it on, the lense goes in and out, and i have to press the playback button so it will stay on. And then, when I try to take a picture it turns out completely blurry. I do not know if Best Buy will take it back because i don't have the insurance plan.. Also I cannot

Broken Camera Well, I dropped my camera, and tada, it is messed up. It turns on, it takes pictures, but the only button that works is the on/off button and the button to take the pictures. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5634183 is the camera, I've had it for 2 years, so the warranty is up. The setting I had it to before had no flash, so now I can't take pictures with flash. If I could get any help, that would be great!

Button-be-dead Ok, so this might sound kind of stupid but my camera was in my purse and I didn't drop it or anything, but when I went to take it out to take pictures, the button you push to take the picture was already half down so it won't stop auto-focusing. I can't zoom in or out, look through my pictures, turn the flash off, delete pictures, or change picture styles. I know it's because of the button already being down halfway but I really need to know how to fix it and get the button back

My camera Hello, my name is Amber. I just bought a FE-230 OLYMPUS digital camera from this guy on craigslist. It is in perfect condition, no scratches no drops and it worked perfectly fine today when he sold it to me. We turned it on together and took a picture and I was taking pictures all night with it, then I came home and tried to load the pictures on the computer, I took out my memory card and then put it back in, and then tried to plug a cord in my camera to see if it would load, and it di

I dropped my camera on the beach right as a shallow wave was coming in. In my fumbling to recover the camera I turned it on. The lens extended and remained that way. I took the plastic camera cover off, rinsed all parts (with purified water) that I could. I air and low heat blew dry the camera over several day, and re-assembled it. Taking pictures I have a pink Sanyo VPC-S770 7.1 megapixel camera. When I hit the picture button, everything goes black. The lens does not retract, but the LCD goes black, and the camera seems like it turns off. I have not dropped it or put it anywhere dangerous for the camera. I don't know how to fix the problem, but I definitely would like it fixed. I bought the camera in July, if that helps.

My Pentax Optio A20 camera display doesn't show true colors, they now have a red-orange tint. It was dropped on the grass yesterday. When I play back the pictures, all of them show up as red-orange on the display, the ones I took before it was dropped and after it was dropped. Everything else works fine on the camera. My brother-in-law says that there may be a reset button to restore factory settings.
It sounds like you may have a broken display. It is possible that it is the main board, but much more likely that it is the LCD display. I can fix this for $40, not matter if it is the display, or the main board. Or you can send it to Pentax in A ... Pentax Optio A20 Digital Camera
Aloha, My Lumix DMC-TZ3 is having issues. When I turn it on it is extremely dark. It's almost as if the camera is only registering one side of the color spectrum. Even the pictures that are taken come out dark, so I'm guessing it's a lens problem. Not sure how it happened, because the camera was not dropped or treated badly anytime recently. The day before it started going wonky, the pictures and camera were fine. Could this be a lens issue or something internal. Is there a reset button to resto

Nikon Coolpix L14 digital camera was dropped recently. Since then, when flash mode is set to AUTO, shutter-release button must be pressed several times to take a picture. If flash mode is OFF, shutter-release button takes a picture the first time pressed.

Kodak V1003 A few weeks ago, shortly after I'd taken a pic, the lens refused to retract and the camera switched off. It has never been dropped or had anything spilled on it. Strangely, when I press the button furthest left the camera comes on, allows me to view pictures on the card, set the time etc - everything except take pictures. Again when I try to switch off, the lens does not retract. Does this not suggest a software glitch of some kind?

White screen? My camera has suddenly stopped working. When I press the red 'shoot' or green 'review' button, all I get on the display is a white screen. Pressing the shutter button does make it shoot, and the zoom and the flash work. I have just taken the card out and examined the jpg files - it is still taking pictures. So it's the display that is busted. I guess my question is: Is it worth the repair bill to get it fixed?

I've had my Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 for about just 3 months. It has worked like a charm until today, when suddenly several things have gone whack, as if the calibration died. I just uploaded pix to my computer, but I can't erase them from the camera. The buttons do not respond. When I turn the camera on, it goes immediately to the "Burst Shooting" window, and doesn't respond to the select buttons. It just blinks and beeps on the "Normal" selection. When I try snapping a picture, nothing happens.
My camera problems have been resolved, although I can't attest to how or why. After about six hours, as I prepared to pack off the little guy to the manufacturer, everything had gone back to normal. I'm left only to speculate that maybe the camera ad ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 Digital Camera

Blurry pics The last time I used this camera, most of the pictures came out very blurry. I had to try to hold the camera completely still to keep them reasonably clear.
