Usb cable has never worked to transfer pictures to computer

Plug the camera in to a USB port and turn it in. Go to Windows explorer. open my computer oon the tree. You will see the drives. C, D, E or whatever. Single click on each one except C until one of them shows Kodak. Continue opening it out until your list of pictures shows up. You can drag & drop them to where ever you want.
It could be a bad USB cable or a bad port. You can test the port by plugging in a different device. If the port tests good and the camera is connected and turned on, you most likely have a bad cable.
