Hi! I took several shots yesterday and went to upload the pix on my computer today and when I connected the camera to my computer the battery was at 100%. Then the camera completely shut off. I tried turning it back on with no result. I recharged the battery with the same result. I figured my battery must be dead ( yet only 1 year old) and purchased a new one. I fully charged that one and plugged my camera in again and the same thing happened! What could this be caused from? No damage has ever

How to disassemble the camera? I have unscrewed all the visible screws, but still cannot take off the back cover. It seems to be still fixed near the external flash plug. In the LX2 section there is a guide, but it starts with the words "remove the back cover". Are there any differences in the way how LX2 and LX3 are assembled?

Do you have any insight? From all that I read, we do have a ccd issue, but I'm not an expert.
