Having problems with your Konica Minolta Dynax 5D / Maxxum 5D Body only Digital Camera ?

I have a Minolta Maxxum 5D which I really like. I take a lot of pictures outside with my job. I have a telephoto lens and a regular lense as well. I switch lenses a good bit depending on the shot. Everything was working well until I now get a message that reads "no lens attached" when there is a lense on the camera. The weird thing is that I only get this message on my regular lense and my telephoto lens works fine. I even carried my camera by a local Minolta/Konic dealer and they were baff

Answers :

It can occur if the contacts on the lens where they meet the contacts on the camera body need cleaning. Try a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

My Vivitar Series 1 24-70 manual focus ais lens won't work on program in my Nikon FA. I bought both new, but have stored them for a long time. It works on aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual, just not in program. All my other lenses do, including other Vivitar lenses, so it must be the lens. Fresh batteries in the camera. I get the FEE message, which means the lens is not set on the smallest aperture, but it IS set on the smallest aperture. I have tried dismounting and remounti

Harsh shadows we are trying to take pictures for a friend's small wedding - at the rehearsal today we practiced picture taking with both a Canon Rebel XSI (using both the regular lense and adding a telephoto lense) and a Canon PowerShot S5-IS. The problem is that we are getting a lot of pictures that have a 'hard' shadow on the people in them. It doesn't appear to be a regular shadow because it doesn't 'land' on the different surfaces behind them, but is more like a shadow attached to them. Any

I have now put in several new batteries (including the little(cr1220) but the same message keeps coming up and the screen and the whole thing dies after a few seconds. Is this a furt

Here we are on our DREAM trip West, currently at the Grand Canyon. Now, with my D80 getting an 'F---' error message in my LCD settings area. Was using my 18-135mm lens.
