Olympus stylus zoom 140. Camera was great for about 2 years, pictures were great. My last two rolls of film developed with large, orange light streaks running vertically just to the right of center. Additionally, there were several "blobs" of orange light left of center. This occurred on 90% of the pictures, the remaining 10% were fine. Is this a light leak in the camera body? Is it worth trying to get Olympus to repair? Of course, the camera is now out of warrenty. Thanks for your time

Dropped camera The camera, approximately 3 years old, was dropped from a sitting position. The zoom lense is extended and will not close. Lens Jam My G6 turned on accidentally in its case and the lens tried to extend but was forced to stop. Now, when I turn the camera on, the lens makes a ratcheting sound and gets halfway before stopping. It beeps and says "LENS" on the top LCD screen, before powering off. I've been quoted £160 just to have it looked at which is half the value of the camera! Does any one know how to open one of these up (safely) and what to do when you get inside to fix the problem?! Many thanks

Good Day. I dropped my Nikon Coolpix L16 camera onto a table. Since then when i switch the device on the lens goes out about a quarter and the goes back in and i get a lens error message. I noticed that when the lens goes out it bends to the right(looking from the top) and gets stuck by something. When i pull the lens a little to the left while switching it on everything works fine. A very small metal part came out of the camera. Any ideas? is it repairable?

My canon xl-1 video fell and the screw in metal lens cap was dislocated from the lens housing. Inside, the lens is attached (soldered) to the cap by a bunch of color coded wiring. It can be repaired. But what is the matching order of the color coded wiring inside canon xl-1 16x zoom lens?

I have a great looking Contaflex IV; however, the last owner removed the entire lens housing (not just the small interchangeable lens) and couldn't get it back together. Neither can I. Hello, I own a Fugi Finepix F100 camera. Last week my dog was pulling on his leash trying to get to a gaggle of ducks and caused me to drop my camera down into snow. I tried to dry it off and in doing so might have damaged the retractable lens cover. Now it is not reliable in opening all the way, I usually need to help slide it back so that the lens is fully exposed. I really don't want to have an expensive repair unless necessary...what do you advise? Thank you! Linda

SAME PROBLEM I didn't drop S60 or hit anything. When turn on the power, a motor vibration noise will be heard. Turn it off and turn it on again may get it work luckily. My Canon powershot A1100 IS is not focusing at all. The lens extends when turned on, but when it tries to focus (when set to "Auto"), I hear a clicking sound, as if the motor is trying to adjust the lens, but is not. It sounds like a more serious repair and probably not worth fixing. Anybody have any thoughts what this may be and whether to fix or toss? Thanks! A. Nadell

Lens error When I try to zoom the lens, it comes up with a lens error. We just got back from a trip to the beach, where my daughter accidentally kicked up sand while she was running toward me and I had the camera ready to take her picture. When I power up the camera I can hear a gritty sound when the lens extends. I've cleaned up the rest of the camera, but don't know how to get the sand out of the lens housing.

I dropped my Kodak EasyShare C330 when the lens was out and now I'm getting the error messages 12 & 22. I tried pulling out the lens because it was stuck and it caused the lens to now move around in the socket. The front part of the lens is also a little bit detached. I was wondering if there was anyway to fix this problem without having to pay for a repair shop or Kodak to fix it?

Tried my brothers memory card in it and its doing the same although his memory card works fine with his camera (nikon d60). Someone help!
