Having problems with your Moultrie Digital Cameras ?

I have a Moultrie D-IR55 camera. Sometimes it takes good pictures, but on other times it takes a picture and then makes it look like a jigsaw puzzle with the pieces shuffled around. I have another identical camera and it has no problems. The only difference is that one camera is on single shots every 1 minute and the one that is having problems is on multi-shots every 15 seconds. Please advise.

Answers :

Set the one set to "multi-shots every 15 seconds" to "single shots every 1 minute".

The other camera will take 4/5 shots without a problem then as I am taking the shot I feel like the camera flutters, the lcd screen shows an error symbol and says the contacts between the lens needs cleaning. When I turn the camera on and off it fixes the problem temporarily but i

Hi, I have a Canon Power Shot S2 IS 5.0 megapixels that was working fine until one day I changed the memory card from 512MB to a 1GB. Now every time I turn the camera on and try to take a picture, a beeping sound and a legend on the LCD screen that reads: Memory card error. It's like something locked the shutter mechanism. I tried other memory cards with the same results. Thanks, Roger.

I have 2 Canon Power Shot 70 cameras (one was a gift) The oldest I have owned for approximately 4 years...the other one slightly less. About one year ago while on vacation, the camera refused to take photos....all I got on the screen were a series of light pink-lavendar horizontal lines in a black background. Last week while at church camp the other camera did exactly the same thing!! Consumer Reports is recommending a Canon camera and at this point I am "gun-shy"! Do you have any suggestions?

Picture error I have a problem with my Olympus SP 500UZ. When I take a couple of pictures on one day. Shut the camera down and start it later on to take new pictures. The screen turns blue when I want to see the pictures. It gives the message: Picture Error or Fatal error and every photo on the memory card is gone! I send it to the Olympus repair for three times now, but they tell me every time that there's nothing wrong with the camera. Is this a known problem??

Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

You can try updating the firmware of the camera since this is not a problem with the memory card its with the camera itself you can check Olympus web site for software update on this.Hope that helps....... ... Digital Cameras

Focus problems I have 2 digital cameras already so I know to hold the button down 1/2 way for focusing. The Nikon is new. I HATE manuals. I am having trouble focusing on close up shots. They are either real blurry or slightly out of focus. It seems the shutter speed is so slow that any movement of my hand ruins the shot. I can take a shot of something, a plant for instance, pulled in fairly close. One shot may be ok and the next one is blurry

There are two likely reasons for the blurry pictures. One possibility is, as you surmised, a slow shutter speed. Try mounting the camera on a tripod or other stable support. You might also try turning on the flash. The other reason is focu ... Digital Cameras

I have a Cuddeback C-1000 trail camera. Mostly all the pics taken at night are black. About every 8-10 pics will take. The rest are black. Apparently the flash is not going off every time. Even in the black pics you can see a faint image. This camera has taken over 15,000 life time images. Cuddeback will want to upgrade my camera for a newer one. I do not want to do this as I have read the reviews of newer cameras and realize their first two models are the best. I think we have had this

I have a new (Dec., 2009) D90. This morning I discovered that I had an "Err" message and a "CHA" message. Both were on the LCD panel on the top of the camera. I was not able to turn the camera off, and the only way to turn it off was to take out the battery. Upon reinserting the battery, everything appeared normal, but after taking one shot the problem reappeared. The interesting thing was that I took the camera body to a Nikon certified shop in New York, and they tried it with a different lens,

I have had two digital cameras (the first an Ixus - the present a Powershot). After a couple of years the Ixus wore out batteries in 5 minutes - and buying new ones did not help. Now the same thing is happenng to my Powershot - which uses ordinary AA-batteries. Both cameras still take very good pictures - but a retailer told me that this is what happens to digital cameras after a while. Do i really have to by a new one every 3.rd year - or have anyone any suggestions?
