I have had an Pentax Optio S10 auto focus camera for about 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat. But now it will not take photos in flash mode. I have tried the usual settings as per the manual, and noticed a previous posting of the same issue. The response was to recharge the battery, which currently I am doing. The indicator on the camera's LCD however shows the battery to be almost fully charged though. Would this be the same issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Graham

Blurry pictures My camera has two settings on the front. One is to take still pictures, such as flowers, the other setting is for action shots. My camera will not switch back to the action setting. There is a switch on the front of the camera. I have switched it to the right position, and it won't work. I have also taken the batteries out of the camera and switched it again. No dice. This sucks because I am missing a lot of good pictures of my kids. please help.

What do I set my camera on to take great shots of a reunion and what do I set it on so there is not such a time delay between shots...it seems it takes too long for my camera to get ready for the next shot and I am missing out. I have a Canon power shot A720IS
Why it takes long between the shots is because of the size of the file to be saved. So, to take pics faster reduce the size by reducing the resolution. Which you dont want as you want great pics. Choice is yours. ... Digital Cameras

The review setting only works if you 'power on' on this setting. (You can see photos on the memory card). I have a Fuji S1000FP and for the most part it takes great photos EXCEPT when I take pictures into the sun then my photos are either white or black and no image. I will admit I just want a point and shoot camera because I don't understand shutter speed and such. However, I have attempted to change the shutter speeds and still nothing. I have tried all the pre settings as well. (This camera claims to be one of the better outdoor cameras. ) Can anyone offer words of wisdom on this. Ruth

Data missing Just got home from a 3 month trip and found that there is a chunk of missing pictures and video from the memory stick I had in my Sony digital video camera (model # TRV 22). The strange part of this is that the missing photos/video are in the middle of the trip. I have 1600 pictures that were taken before and after this large chunk of data. Do you have any idea what could have happened and how I might be able to retrieve the information? Thanks, Laurie

Maintaining Date/Time I've recently inherited a Fuji E510 camera. Works well enough except that it loses its date/time settings if I take the batteries out for even the shortest period of time (for example, when changing low batteries). I see no reference in the manual for the location of the "keepalive" battery cell nor can I find anyplace on the camera housing that indicates where a keepalive cell would be inserted. This leads me to believe that this camera model either has an incredibly st

Olympus x-840 digital camera. Hi, there is a problem with the battery life; fully charged batteries seem to be exhausted after only a dozen or so pictures. The battery indicator plunging from a full set of greens to a single red and then the camera refusing to turn on. Then after taking the batteries out and re-inserting them everything seems fine again for the next few shots - and then the same cycle of events plays out again...
The best solution is to buy NiMh batteries 2300 mA or greater 2500 mA to 2700 mA and so I have no more problems with this excellent Olympus x 840 camera. In Belgium i have payed a little more than 50 euro for the batteries and the charger. ... Digital Cameras

Overexposed photos?? when i hit my shutter release button, sometimes the flash doesn't pop up and the view finder goes black. (it's like the camera is taking a picture but when I release my finger from the shutter release button it doesn't release) The only way to "get out of it" is to turn the camera off then back on. when i go to playback...it is a white picture. are my settings messed up and how do i avoid this in the future. Many picture moments are missed because of this!
