It all depends on the number of MPs that you are usinf, ie, thearger the picture the larger the file and the larger the time to save it. It also depends on the speed of the memory card if you are saving to the card as they are always slower than the RAM. You would notice the difference between saving to card me,ory and camera memory. PICTURE TAKING Wonder if anyone can help me? Whenever I try to take a picture on my C-350 Zoom there is a long delay, of about 3 seconds, between me pressing the button and the flash operating to take the picture. This means I can never take any action shots and am even struggling to take family snapshots. I've checked this against other cameras and they only seem to take 1 to 1.5 seconds. I've looked through the operating manual and can't seem to find any solution. Any help would be greatly

I recently used my 860G on a diving trip to Roatan. After shooting some terrestrial pictures (outside the housing), I shut the camera off. When I tried to restart it, the Sea & Sea logo illuminates and the green indicator light flashes for a few seconds but the lens fails to extend. The camera shuts itself off after a few seconds. The battery is fully charged (I've tried several). The picture viewing mode works fine...the camera just refuses to enter the picture taking mode. Any help out t

Canon A510 Powershot camera will not stay powered on when I turn it on in picture-review mode. It comes on for a second --> Canon screen flashes on -- and then shuts off. In picture-taking mode, it seems to be fine. It stays on. But if I switch to review mode, it turns off. I've changed the batteries. It was fine last time I used it, last week. I left it plugged into the PC for a few days, if that makes any difference.

My Canon SD950 IS camera will take about 30 seconds to take a flash picture. You have to hold down the shutter button for a long time. The flash indicator flashes on the display for quite a while and then the picture is finally taken. This seems to have happened after the battery was run down to nothing. After that, this flash problem appeared. I have got another battery but this still happens. I have reset to default settings as well . Still has problem. What is wrong?

Power/lens Problems I'm having some power/lens problems with my camera. When I turn on the power in either the picture or video mode, the green light will turn on for a split second then turn off. The lens does not come out at all. However, when I try to turn it on with the picture viewer or in the menu it works just fine. When I start with the picture viewer and then switch to the camera it turns off. Thus it seems that whenever I want to take a picture or a movie the camera doesn't work.

Hi, I have just bought the Fuji JX530. When I take a picture I get a split second clicking sound coming from the lens before the flash goes and the picture is taken. The picture is fine and the mechanism moves smoothly when turned on/off and zoomed in/out. Is this just the normal operating sound of the lens or something else ??
