Having problems with your Nikon Coolpix 4500 Digital Camera ?

With my Nikon 4500, right before I take a picture and after the flash has popped up, a small green rectangle often appears on the large square viewer, and it seems to have an envelope flap in darker green on the rectangle. Do you know what the bright green small rectangle means?

Power/lens Problems I'm having some power/lens problems with my camera. When I turn on the power in either the picture or video mode, the green light will turn on for a split second then turn off. The lens does not come out at all. However, when I try to turn it on with the picture viewer or in the menu it works just fine. When I start with the picture viewer and then switch to the camera it turns off. Thus it seems that whenever I want to take a picture or a movie the camera doesn't work.

Bright pixels? All the pictures I take seem to have four bright (blue) pixels exactly in the same position, all next to each other (2x2 square) The problem is not visible unless you zoom the pic quite a lot on PC. Is this "normal", or should I take the camera back to store?

The focal length on my Nikon S52 Coolpix seems to be much shorter than it was originally. No matter the adjustment I make to the settings, at least part of the photo is extremely blurry. I have tried both with Auto-Focus on and off, but there is always a small square in the center of the view finder, and this is only region that shows a focused image. The camera used to produce sharp images throughout the picture. How can I adjust this?

I just received my Nikon D3100 in the mail today, and I was so excited. When I opened the lens cap on the camera body to put the lens on a small, clear-ish rectangle fell out. It was surrounded by a thin cooper colored frame that is easily removable. It looked like a little magnifying glass so I am kind of nervous. It seems to shoot pictures fine, but some times it tells me the shot is to dark even though I am in full light. It also took black pictures the first few times and if I point it di

Ist issue: how do you get the battery out? I have been using a nail file to pry it out. 2nd issue: the charger blinks green and orange whether battery is inserted or not. Battery does not seem to charge. 3rd issue: I have camera plugged in by USB. The green power light comes on but that's it. The LCD screen doesn't light up, no other buttons seem to work. Where does my issue lie? Is it the battery, the charger or the camera?

1st- you shouldn't have to do this. Stop filing your nails and you will be able to pry the battery out with a fingernail.2cnd- I can't decide whether this is a bad battery or a fault with the charger. Either way, the battery won't charge, ... Polaroid T737 Digital Camera

Colour On recent photographs there's a distinct green tinge, particularly noticeable on outdoor shots. I can correct this in an editor, usually by reducing the green a little and increasing the blue level. The green tinge seems to be consistent, not just occasional photos. I can't find any obvious way of dealing with this in the camera manual, unless the white balance can be used to remedy it. I notice there's a footnote: 'The colour tones may vary somewhat depending on the shooting condition

After power on, green light comes on. On opening the touch pad viewer orange charge light comes on and whole camera shuts down leaving orange light lit. The only way to turn off the orange light is to remove battery. Since the battery is showing more than 90 mins remaining..I doubted it ay be battery but on changing battery with new one problem exists. I think it may be to do with the connection of touch pad viewer at hinge location. If i flip open fast the touch pad viewer stays on...then on

The flash is either far too bright or not bright enough even when using the auto setting. The flash either doesn't flash at all on "soft flash" and then blinds people when the flash is turned on so it produces very dark faces or bright white images. PICTURE TAKING Wonder if anyone can help me? Whenever I try to take a picture on my C-350 Zoom there is a long delay, of about 3 seconds, between me pressing the button and the flash operating to take the picture. This means I can never take any action shots and am even struggling to take family snapshots. I've checked this against other cameras and they only seem to take 1 to 1.5 seconds. I've looked through the operating manual and can't seem to find any solution. Any help would be greatly
