Having problems with your Nikon Coolpix 5600 Digital Camera ?

Blurred pictures in auto mode

\015 Hello, my Coolpix 5600 started to blur all the pictures I made, especially when used in a room with less light. I checked the settings to be the same with another Coolpix 5600 that my girlfriend has (and which is ok) but they are still blurred. My lens is clean. This problem occurred probably 2 months ago, I have the camera 2 years ago. Any suggestions?\015

Be sure you can do a pre-focus press on the button, if you press the camera lightly it will focus and then press the rest of the way and it should take your shot. Another issue i have seen is in lower light situations, go ahead and be sure the flash is on, it forces the camera to use a faster shutter speed. Also check to see if your camera has a function for a focus light to be turned on to help it get ready for taking pictures.
It is probably a camera shake problem. Consider using a tripod. Also, using higher ISO helps..Using flash helps too.

I was at a basketball game last night and taking pictures with the d80 and the 55-200 lens. All of the pictures I took in auto focus were blurry. I changed it to the S mode with shutter speed at 4000 and those pictures came out completely dark with nothing in the picture. I changed the setting to the sports mode and the shutter speed is not fast enough because I have the same issue with blurring or out of focus.

Have the Nikon D90 camera and it does not allow me to take pictures when ever I want. It is in full auto mode and just does not want to take the picture even in bright day light. The F keeps on blinking in full auto mode and even if I switch to manual mode it does not allow me to change settings. It is very frustrating! what is wrong with this D90??

The blinking F-- means that the camera doesn't think a lens is attached. You can try removing the lens and re-attaching it. Or if you have another lens, try that. There are quite a few reports of this issue with the 18-135 kit lens. ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens
