Uploading pictures back onto my camera

\015 I deleted picture from my camera once i transferred them onto my computer, but i wanted to put a few back onto it. How could i copy the pictures back onto my camera?\015

Answers :

Set the camera to MTP instead of PTP in the settings menu on the camera. This will allow it to operate as a USB device instead of only interacting with the Nikon software.

Specifically...

Hit menu on the camera, go to the setup menu, and select USB and then make sure it's\015\012set to "Mass Storage" and not "PTP". Then connect the camera.

Hope this helps.
Brilliant!

\015\012This totally works. I've found about 15 pages on the web that essentially say "it can't be done without a card reader" -- but this worked perfectly first try.

When I went back to delete the pictures off the camera card, the camera would not turn on or do anything. I tried to charge the battery but when everything is plugged in it is still totally dark. We purchased a new battery thinking that was the problem and still nothing. When the charger in plugged in there is nothing - no lights at all.
