Having problems with your Nikon COOLPIX L18 Digital Camera ?

Even with new batteries, the screen says batteries exhausted on Coolpix L18. Sometimes by switching the position of the batteries, it turns on. (I'm not talking about changing the polarity...just changing location. Today, when I got it to turn on briefly 1 time, it said the card couldn't be used, even though I've used that card before.
