Having problems with your Nikon COOLPIX L3 Digital Camera ?

Dropped Nikon Coolpix L3

\015 Dropped camera from height of 4' onto hardwood floor. Camera was in "off" position but turned on upon impact and lens extended. When tried to turn camera off immediately lens would not retract and viewing screen read "lens error". Now lens is in permanently extended position; can hear "whirring" noise when I try to turn off camera, but nothing changes. No image appears in viewing screen, but screen lights up.Anything can be done by me or do I have to take it to camera repair shop?Thanks.Matt\015
