You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
There's a chance to recover your deleted photos. As all your photos are stored in the memory card you could tryCard Data Recoverywhich will help you recover pics without casusing any data damage to your photos. My friend recommend this wonderful software to me and he had used it successfullyrecovered photos, music, etc. from his cellphone memory card. Just have a try!

When I connect my camera to my computer, it appears to be empty. I have over 1000 photos on it which show on the camera screen, but the computer sees none. I have even tried downloading the drivers and 'Nikon transfer' package from the disk that came with the box. I am using windows xp. Why does my computer not read the camera? When I open the S52 folder in my computer, there are no files. When I then press 'get pictures from camera' it says that the camera is in use. What am I doing wrong?!

First of all, why on earth would you keep 1000 pics on the memory card? They are not meant for storage....they can be easily corrupted and you could lose your pics. You need to get a card reader and use it to download your pics. Then, format the card ... Nikon COOLPIX S52 Digital Camera

Black screen Hi, I have a Powershot S1iS (CANNON), and it worked just fine for about 2 years now. Last week - suddenly the screen went black, and I can not see anything. When I switch to see the pictures I've taken before, I am able to do that, and I do see them. When I try to take a picture - I'm able to, but the picture is black. Can it be a memory card problem (since it's a new one, and I didn't swap it, to verify that). Thanks - Shlomi [email protected]
