Having problems with your Nikon Coolpix S203 Digital Camera ?

It won't put pictures on my computer - Nikon Coolpix S203 Digital Camera

Answers :

Hello and welcome to FixYa

Please go to a electronics store and buy a USB card reader. I bought one last week and it cost $0.5 so its cheap as dirt. Then simply remove the card from your camera , pop it into the reader and the pictures will appear on a drive like a flashdrive in your my computer folder.

This is a much better option than using the camera's cable as it is faster , safer , saves on your camera battery and you don't need to install any software or drivers.

\012The card reader will most likely also still be compatible with any new camera you buy in future.

Kind Regards
Andrea

Camera: Nikon Coolpix E4600 Have tried to transfer images from my Coolpix camera to my computer. Once connected to USB cord, the camera is recognized by the computer except the file transfering programs (Nikon Transfer and PictureProject) don't recognize any files to transfer. Is it a problem with the cord itself? I've put the memory card which has the pictures into my laptop and transfered them successfully that way, which is why it leads me to believe the cord is the issue.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 3.6x. When I plug the cord in the camera to load the pictures into my computer, I then turn on the camera, the camera goes *beep*, the monitor flashes on a second. then goes back off. I've checked the cord connection into my computer and put new batteries in my camera. It has done this before, when I deleted the pictures from my camera. It was something between the scene and playback buttons I think, but I can't seem to straighten it out. Can you help?

Every time I try and upload pictures onto my computer using my Nikon s4000, the pictures are extremely distorted, but look completely fine on the camera itself. I use the chord that came with the camera to transfer them onto my computer. This is the second s4000 I've had, because the first one i purchased had the same exact problem. The only way that the pictures aren't distorted are when I upload them to my boyfriend's laptop by taking the memory card out of my camera and putting it in his lapt
