7 May 2010 Hi there, I have an Olympus camera that I bought in June 2007. I had a two-year guarantee, which ran out last year. Now my camera won?t come on. This happened once before but when I put in new batteries (although the batteries I was using were fairly new), it worked again. Now, however, I?ve had no low-battery warning light and one minute the camera was working, the next it had stopped. I?ve tried putting in new batteries (straight out of the packet) but it?s made no difference. Can y

My small handheld video camera "Aiptek ISDV2.4" has a battery life of literally 1 minute. Even when I replace the batteries, they still only last for 1 minute. I have tried rechargeable batteries, but those don't seem to help at all. I really want normal battery life for my video camera..

Hi recently bought a fujiilm ax200 and i used regular Duracell batteries just to test out the camera. Then I purchased rechargeable batteries and the camera for working fine for the five minutes i took photos with it. When trying to upload the photos onto the computer the camera would not turn on. I plugged it into the laptop with the usb and it just wouldn't work. Even after I unplugged it the camera is not working, i tested other batteries and the rechargeable ones are fully charges and work

My Sigma SD9 rapidly drains battery power; and I don't mean over a short period of time, but over a few minutes. Regardless of new or fresh rechargeable batteries, the drainage is frustratingly consistent. Have had the camera quit responding regardless of 3 sets of AA rechargeables, or non-rechargeables with more than 3/4 capacity left installed within 45 minutes of my last attempt to use this camera at a Botanical garden close to where I live. After leaving my Sony DSC-T2 camera unused for only a couple of days the battery was flat. I recharged it fully but again it only lasted a day or two. I assumed the battery was dead and I purchased a new Sony NP-BD1 battery and charged it correctly. This new battery is behaving exactly the same as the old one, only holding a charge for a day or two at most. It seems the camera is draining the battery when it is switched off, or maybe the charger is faulty ??? Any ideas?? many thanks - Geoff

I think I'm going to explode if I hear one more "worn out battery" explanation for what seems to be a pretty common complaint. This is my 3rd camera...all ending up with the same problem. I've had the Canon Power Shot A570 for less than a year. Someone suggested changing the settings...but even with brand spanking new batteries, I can't even get it to last long enough to get into the settings. There is clearly a problem here that has NOTHING to do with the blasted batteries.

Sounds like you have a faulty board in the camera or it could be something as simple as a software upgrade, I know some of the Fuji Hine Pix had the same problem and it was the software. Take it back to the Canon. ... Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera

Hi! I took several shots yesterday and went to upload the pix on my computer today and when I connected the camera to my computer the battery was at 100%. Then the camera completely shut off. I tried turning it back on with no result. I recharged the battery with the same result. I figured my battery must be dead ( yet only 1 year old) and purchased a new one. I fully charged that one and plugged my camera in again and the same thing happened! What could this be caused from? No damage has ever

Fuji s9000 problem, it won't turn on with the ac supply at all.
