Having problems with your Nikon COOLPIX S60 Digital Camera ?

Bad photo quality

\015 I just bought the Nikon S60 and I cannot take a good picture to save my life. Most of the pictures are in low light areas but there has got to be way to take a good picture in the low light. Some of the reviews are telling me that i should not have gotten this camera.\015

The Konika Minolta 7D is a DSLR. With the DSLR you have a much bigger sensor, and can use much bigger lenses (with larger apertures - lower f-stop numbers) to gather light to the sensor. This allows the DSLR to take much better photos in low light. You will never get the same quality out of a small pocket camera like the Nikon S60. Hand-held non-flash photos in low light with this camera are going to\015\012have the flaws you have noticed - especially in the darker areas of the\015\012image. This is digital noise caused by amplifying the signal from the\015\012sensor as the camera processes the image with the high ISO setting.

You said you are sure that you are using the highest picture quality settings. The next thing is to change the ISO - this camera's "high ISO" does not produce images with good quality. The camera automatically uses a high ISO setting in low light, you need to tell it to not use high ISO by setting a lower ISO value. When shooting with a low ISO setting in low light, you need to use a tripod, and your subject can not be moving.

If you need to take hand-held photos, or your subject is moving, then you need to use flash with this camera, or else use your 7D.

Image quality Hi. When I'm taking photos and set my exposure manually on my Canon 20D, the image looks right exposed on my LCD screen, but when I download all the photos on my PC, all the photos are VERY DARK. Can someone help me to find a solution to correct the exposure on my camera, so that I can save time on my

Hi. Very unhappy with quality of Ixus 80is photos. They are not at all sharp, milky, with no depth, in various light conditions. I did comparison identical rural scenic photos with the canon and 2 different 5 megapixel phone cameras. In most cases, the Nokia N95 camera results are far superior to the canon. I have read nothing but good reviews about the quality of pics from this camera so I'm wondering why mine are so bad. Any ideas?

Grainy Pictures I received this camera as a Christmas gift, this past Christmas, and I have not been able to get a decent photo from it yet. The indoor photos are very grainy with a bubble sometimes in the photo. Outdoor photos are too light and also grainy, especially when the zoom is used. I have tried adjusting the image quality and the ISO setting but neither of these adjustments have improved the quality of the pictures. The printed pictures look worse than the images on the LCD screen. I c

Canon Powershot G10 image quality problems... I have had my Canon Powershot G10 for 2 years and have had the same problem from the start... it is now driving me mad! When viewing photos in anything other than the supplied Canon Zoom Browser or Photo Professional the quality is poor. The images are noticeably blurred and appear grainy. I normally shot in manual mode with ISO80 and record images in RAW+JPEG. Processing the RAW photos seems to slightly improve the blur (though it is still there)

Hi, I just bought a vivitar vivicam t27. the photos are all blurry. I have never been so surprised by such a bad photo. The camera is 1 day old. Is this a bad camera, or is there a fix for this disasterous looking set of photos. SIGNED/ hugely disappointed in this vivtar product. ):

Blurred pictures I started using my new Nikon Coolpix on Christmas Eve and have taken photos for about 2 weeks. More than half of the pictures are very blurry after I transferred them to my computer and enlarged them to view. I also own a Nikon D5000 and have always been very happy with the quality, thus my choice of a Nikon pocket camera. Have I made a mistake?

Blurry photos THe last few times I have attempted to use my camera I have had two problems. One, each time I turn it on it resets itself as if I have never used it and goes back to the language selection and and I have to reset the date (which I stopped doing because of the inconvenience every time I wanted to take a photo, so now all my photos say January 1, 2000). Also, every time I go to take a photo, the picture is blurry. I have tried to reset the quality, but it's not helping and, admitted

I had a Sony F707 for quite a number of photos before buying an F717. I found the F717 to underexpose by about 0.3EV relative to the F707, pretty consistently, so I just set the EV compensation on the F717 to +0.3EV most of the time.\015\012\015\012T ... Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F717 Digital Camera
