Nikon D200 - problems formatting card

\015 Every time I try to format the card (as the camera insists on), it formats it and then says "Done", but every time I try to use it it tells me to format the card it does this when I use the menu to format the card. I have also tried the two format buttons (where you are supposed to hold them down until you see "For" and then realese them and press them again), but when I press them again nothing happens... \015\012\015

Answers :

To use the two format buttons:
Press the "trashcan" format button and hold it. Then press the "mode" format button and hold it. Hold for approx 3~4 seconds. The screen will go blank and display "For" and the number of shots taken on the card.
Release both buttons. Then press the "trashcan" again followed by the format button. The screen will go back to normal, except the number of shots indicator, it will display "For". In a few seconds, your card will be formatted.

Although this may not solve your problem, you may have bad CF Card.
This is normal. Happens all the time.

Try another card. It should format fine. If it doesnt, take your camera to an authorized dealer/repair shop for maint.
