Nikon D2Xs Firmware Problem

\015 Hi, I recently purchased a D2Xs floor model or demo unit form a liquidation company here is Kansas City. The problem is that I have no menu options and the only thing that comes up when I access the menu on the camera is a small setup menu with about 6-7 options, none of which include a reset or any additional features. This renders the camera practically useless as most of my dials will not work because they need to be directed by the firmware. How can I reinstall the original version 1.0 firmware? Where do I get it if it is a possibility. Also the weird thing is that the firmware version on the camera now reads 7.3! There is no such firmware from Nikon so I have zero clue why this is setup like this. Please help!!\015

Tokina AT-X PRO 28-80mm 1:2.8 lens has recently developed a problem when mounted on my Nikon D200. The images are way too dark and my only way to obtain usable images is to bracket heavily. This lens has worked flawlessly on film Nikons and, until recently, worked flawlessly on the D200. I am now also having AF problems with the lens. When I attach any of my Nikon brand lenses - no problems. Can you help? I really love this lens.

Appreciation CanadaBruce I was browsing the website since I have a Nikon D80. Considering the fact that Nikon sells this as an amateur camera (meaning not a cheap solution), I suspect their Q&A and test wings are probably getting a lot of flak internally for the problems its users experience intermittently. Besides the F-err with 18-135 lens, I have not experienced other problems yet. I hope and pray to whatever powers there be it stays that way. One way I have tried to get around this problem i

Hi Guys, I am hoping that someone can offer some explaination for the following. I bought a Nikon D7000 in November and it has suddenly started displaying 3 small doughnut shaped marks on my images. I have not removed my Nikon 16-85 lens from the body so I would not have thought that sensor dust was the problem. Lens Error I recently had a problem with my Casio QV-R4... every time I'd turn it on, the lens would retract and I'd get a "LENS ERROR" message on the screen. I talked to customer support and they told me that Installing the new version of their firmware, v1.01 would fix this problem. I've since installed the new firmware version, but I am still receiving the lens error. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please help!!!

As solutions 1 & 2 indicate, lubing the gears works!! This is a great camera, so I hope all of the QV-R4 owners try this. I may become a maintenance item for the camera.\015\012 \015\012I have a few a ... Casio QV-R4 Digital Camera
