I have a Nikon Coolpix S60 and need to have the date and time stamped ON my photos. My camera is set to date and time but it doesn't show up on my photos, can you help?
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with the image in what's called the EXIF data. The software you use for printing the picture should give you the option of printing some of that data on the picture or in the margins (or on the back, if y ... Nikon COOLPIX S60 Digital Camera

This photo can't be displayed. You might not have enough memory available. Close some programs or, if you hard disk is almost full, free some disk space and try again. ----This message comes out on certain photos that I cannot open when I transfer the photos from the dslar (nikon d90). But I checked and I have enough disk space. Some photos are able to be viewed without problems.

Have photos taken with a Nikon CoolPix that have the wrong date on them. I need to remove the incorrect date and add the correct date stamp, can this be done with the software that came with the camera?
Not easily. Once the date stamp is on the picture, those pixels are the same as any other pixel. You can edit the photos using photo editing software, the same way you might replace one person's face with another's. ... Nikon Coolpix 3100 Digital Camera
Someone asked me to take photos with my Nikon D90. I have the 18-105mm lens that I got with it. Is this able to take 'wide angle' photos?? I know there are special lenses made specifically for wide angle photos, but is this one capable of doing so?? Thanks for your answer...sorry if I seem so ignorant....I'm new at this. Thanks again!
The 18-105mm lens at the 18mm end of the zoom range is a pretty fair wide-angle lens. Look through the viewfinder and turn the zoom ring (the big wide ring at the front of the lens) one way and then the other. The 105mm end is the view that looks lik ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens
In my nikon d50, after I take a photo (when it displays) on the screen), it is covered with a semi-transparent menu of details about the photo. Not a histogram, but a text display with items like the date the photo was taken. Or it displays 4 small numbered thumbnails. When I click enter, I zoom. I just want the REGULAR display mode.
Press up/down on the multiselector until you get the view you want. ... Nikon Digital Cameras
My nikon D90 will not take photos. It sounds like the photo is taken but is not writing to the memory card. I can read/review photos aleady on the card and do anything but write to the card. This has happened frequently and intermittently. It has been in for warranty repairs twice now and happened again today. Does anyone have any ideas and is thei happening to other people?
I'd suggest formatting your memory card, which is something you should do every you use the camera anyway. Obviously you need to copy any important photos to your PC before the format. These cards also have a write protection lock, so make sure tha ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens
We just purchased a Nikon Coolpix S4000 and took it on vacation to Hawaii and got some very nice pictures but we had the date imprint on and when I transferred the photos to Picasa the dates show up when printing the pictures and I don't want them when we make an album. Is there any way to remove the dates from the camera so they are not present when I make another transfer.

Hi. I am on vacation in the Indian Ocean islands at this moment with a brand new Nikon D90 + 18-105 lens. Was taking photos this morning. From one shot to another, the camera suddenly stopped working. Also, the Lv button no longer works. When I press it, the camera is unable to switch from viewfinder to LCD l

I have a Nikon D90 camera with a 180 - 300 lens that I use to shoot photos of my boys playing football. I have always had crystal clear shots from the stadium. Now that my boys are playing Varsity at night my shots are blurred and I usually end up deleting most of them. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?
Obviously, shooting the pics at night requires a longer exposure. If you haven't changed any settings from your daylight pics, then your camera is probably setting a slower shutter speed to compensate for less light in the stadium. You need to raise ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

This is more than likely a shadow from your lens. The on-camera flash is in a fairly low position, and I am able to duplicate your description when using my D200 on-camera flash and a physically longer lens- in my case a 28-70 F2.8 lens. Using a hot- ... Digital Cameras
