Nikon 440 not recording image on card

\015 Have situations lately taking photos that are NOT recorded on the memory card; not 1 of 2 photo's; but 10 or 12 in a row. Any ideas? Camera has taken approx 50,000 shots.\015\012\015\012Rich Pattison, Weymouth, MA\015\012email: [email protected]\015

Nikon Coolpix L18 camera LCD screen only shows jumpy lines of images. Took a test picture and viewed through a card reader to find that it is recording images, so the problem is just in the screen. (Also installed fresh batteries.) Camera has been working faithfully on a regular basis. Worked just fine a few days ago. Hasn't been dropped or suffered any 'trauma'.

Hi,\015\012\015\012The fact that the screen is displaying an image even though it is a distorted one of lines in screen indicates that the screen is receiving a signal. This points to a fault with the screen itself and not the camera. ... Digital Cameras

NIKON D70 I have a Nikon D70 Whilst taking a series of photographs I get through to about 40 images then the camera stops shooting and the format card display comes up on the display. If the CF card is removed the images taken are ok and can be down loaded. If the card is then replaced without deleating the images then further images can be taken until the problem re-ocurs. I have tested the camera by taking a full card of images all at once and there is no problem. The issue seems to ocur if th

Card Format I just got this Fuji S1 pro as a backup digital camera for an Ebay business, and it's not like the Nikon D1 I already have, where you access the format option through the main menu. I haven't even been able to record one image! Can anyone give me a lead?

Try pushing the play button. It will either show an image or say "No images". Then press the menu button. The option should be right there to format the card. Just press the control pad "up" to format and press "menu/ok". ... Fuji FinePix S1 Pro Digital Camera

Hi, the flash card card-eject lever spring is broken and wont eject the card. u have to manually push the card in place and pull the card out. the lever stays up until u shut the card slot door.once the card is in place the camera can read the card if images already exist. but...it will not record an image and shows up as blank on the screen after the shutter takes the image? is this the cause of the broken eject lever. thanks.

I have the same problemI think that the reason that the not record the image is that the card slot door is pushing down on the card eject lever and ejecting the card when the door is closedThe only answer I can think of is to shorten the leverdavidh ... LCD/Recording Picture When I take a picture, the camera will only record about 1/4 of the picture on the LCD screen, then rest of the image is black. I was taking lots of pictures before that and the image recorded on the LCD. All of a sudden (in the mdidle of taking lots of pictures), I noticed the the whole image was not recording. I have changed the battery, changed Compact Flash Cards and nothing corrects it. Even when I upload the picture to the computer, the image is only one about 1/4

Same problem with mine. I have a Nikon S3000 digital camera in blue and i recently bought a Sandisk 8 gb card for it and before i had a 4 gb card, as well a Sandisk. My 4 gb card worked fine and recorded videos but my 8 gb card does take pictures but its a bit slow and it will start to record video but after ten seconds or so it will say that this card cannot be read. Any help to what settings i need to change or is this the wrong card? Thank you.

Didnt realise I furst had to format the memory card for my new Nikon D60. Took lots of photos at the weekend but when I took out the card to download the images there was nothing on it. However I can still view the images in the camera's display screen. I have loaded the disc that came with the camera on to my computer but have not as yet been able to work out how to download the pictures. Bearing in mind the memory card was not formatted I just want to know if I will be able to download

Hello, I have a Nikon Coolpix S6000. It has worked well until this evening when I attempted to erase multiple selected images from the camera. It then froze for a minute and when I got it running again it gives me an error message saying "This card cannot be read". I've been using this memory card for months with no problems, and my computer can still read all of the images. Is the problem with the camera or the card?

Black screen The LCD screen is black, with coloured strips in the midlle. In the begining the recorded images were reddish, after that green and at the end there are only coloured stripes. The recorded images stored on the card are OK.
