Having problems with your Nikon D40x Digital Camera ?

I accidentally deleted all the pictures files from DCIM file folder on the computer (Imac) using "move to trash" option instead deleted them using camera (nikon D40x) menu. Now, even there is no images on my camera I am getting "card is full message" and cannot use camera at all. I did not deleted NIKON001.DSC file just the picture files.

Also try sites from SanDisk and Transcend, because they often offer the recover tools for free. The "free" tools show they can find your deleted pictures and then ask mony to undelete them. Most memory card manufactures have recover tools. Once I got the program for free with a 8GB SanDisk card. It saved lots of pictures for me.
\012 View this to see the files can be recovered. Please don't use the card till the pictures are recovered.
\012 I think you did exclude your memory card from the trash recovery, but you also could take a look there.

Photos can be successfully retrieved from a memory card - however there is a catch. When you delete a photo, you really just tell the camera/computer to act like it isn't there. The actual bits in memory aren't changed to delete it (there is software you can get to actually delete them, but its usually completely unnecessary).
\015\012To get back your lost picture files try to use flash file recovery software. http://www.panterasoft.com/file-recovery/index.html

Canon SD750 The camera tells me there are "No Images". Yet, it also tells me that "The Memory Card" is full. I shot video just to see it, brand new camera using the 32mb card, and now, nothing. Can't shoot stills, anything, because it's full in its mind. I found the erase option. It's grayed out, meaning it's not at option because there's nothing to erase according to the camera. Any ideas. Is the stock card **** and this is Canon's way to upgrade?
