I have a nikon d70 digital camera with which I have shot a few thousand exposures. A number of what seem to be minor software errors have been cropping up. For instance: I can't get the camera to "beep"; I can't format the memory cards using the 2 button system - I have to go through the menu setup; I can't select certain of the image quality options using the "quality" button - I have to go thru the manu. Certain numbers come up unreadable on the control panel. The above problems do not stop

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.

Small white circles usually means dust on the lens.  Remove the dust with a blowerbrush - not a tissue.\012You are asking for a "1 size fits all" solution for your settings, and indoor and outdoor use really means different settings.   ... Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. But can anything be done to correct the blurry pictures taken in this situation?? Any software known to correct this problem? Thank's, Angela Sapp
