Having problems with your Nikon D50 Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens ?

Overexposure When I take any pictures, the images are overexposed. Recently while in the USA, the same problem happened and I took it in to a repair shop. They reset it to the "factory" settings and it had been working fine. Now it is happening again, but as I live out of the country, I can't take it to a repair shop. Is there a way for me to reset it myself.

Answers :

From the troubleshooting section of the user manual (p. 120) -- The reset button is on the bottom of the camera on the end away from the battery. Use a small screwdriver or ball point pen to push it. Works whether the camera is on or off.
