Having problems with your Nikon D5100 Digital Camera ?

I am also trying to configure my Rocketfish remote with my nikon d5100, how do I set it to IR mode?

\015 Where is the setting for IR mode?\015

Answers :

Set the release mode to one of the two remote modes. The quick-response remote mode fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. The delayed mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back.

Full details are in the "Release Mode" section of the Reference Manual (page 35 in my copy). If you need a manual you may download a copy from here.

I have a Nikon D80 with a 18-135mm lens. I recently got an F-- where the aperture should appear. The error message in the manual says that "No lens attached." I tried detaching and reattaching the lens numerous times. I also tried cleaning the contacts to no avail. The only mode that the shutter will release in is the Manual mode. While in the M mode I couldn't adjust the aperture.

Why is my olympus e420 taking green tinted photos? I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I've tried changing the settings, I've changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside. Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green s

Flash has stopped working on my Nikon D40. I've tried a factory reset, tried to get to the flash setting but that menu option is no longer available (highlighted) in any mode. I'm thinking it's broken and not a setting thing. Everything else works fine and it still takes pictures just without the flash. The flash pops up when needed but no flash obviously.

Just purchased Nikon S570 less than a week ago. After taking 10 or so pics today while out on a hike, the camera locked up saying it could not read the card. I have a Nikon CoolPix 4300 that is about 5 years old. I mostly use it in the Macro mode for close-up photos of the sewing thimbles I sell on eBay.
