Having problems with your Nikon D60 Digital Camera ?

When reviewing photos in the viewfinder, some pictues are flasing black where it's the brightest ie: a window in the background, reflection off glasses. How do I eliminate this..something accidently pressed to cause this to occur?

Hi
I am just learning how to use my camera....student! I want to take action photos inside. I put the shutter speed on the highest and the apeture on a low number, which ended up blurring, then i tried high number apeture with high ISO then the pictures turned black......what am I doing wrong....any advice really appreciated
First off..you dont review the already taken pictures in viewfinder ;) i know you meant the display..
\015\012The one you described is not a problem but a facility to let you know that the details might have lost in that area commonly called as white wash.
\015\012to comeout of it while its blinking just press the four way button up multiple times..various view options will come like histograms n image parameters info etc. keep pressing it untill the normal picture comes back without the washed part flashing.

My d5000 fell on the floor and the filter glass of the lens broke. i tried taking pictures to see if it's still working but the view from the viewfinder is darker than usual and it would not take pics even if i press the shutter release button. should broken filter glass prevent taking pictures or does this mean there is another damage to the camera apart from the broken filter glass?

The filter should have nothing to do with the images recorded on camera (I assume it's an UV- or skylight filter).I'd say there's some more serious damage to your camera and you should take it to an authorized dealer repair shop. ... Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

Lens error When I turn on Nikon Cool Pix S230, it tries to adjust the lens for a little bit then it says lens error.  It is only a few months old.  I think what caused the problem was the last time I took  a picture there was a strobe light in the background which caused the picture to look funny.  Then a few days later when I tried to work the camera I got this problem.  thank you!

Memory Twice now the entire library of pictures we saved completely erased. We're not sure how they're erasing... we must have accidently pressed a button that deleted them but how can it be that it's so easy to erase ALL the pictures? I feel like there should atleast be a prompt that asks "delete all pictures? yes or no" like there is with text messages and emails or anything else. Is there a way to get our pictures back? Is there a back up memory??

Zoom Error While taking a picture of my daughter at Disneyland, I accidently dropped my camera, while in picture mode. It must have been about a 3 foot fall. Canon sd900 I seldom use my canon sd900 and I usually take pictures without using the flash. But I recently noticed that my hands should be very very steady, just a slight movement will cause the picture to be blurry or unclear. I usually don?t use the flash because it gives a darker background with your face too white from the flash. And my problem arises when I would request other people to take my picture because 90% don?t have a steady hand thus giving me a blurry picture.
