Why my nikon d60 wont display any image when i take photos with it
The D60 operates as SLRs have operated for half a century, showing the image through an optical viewfinder. Only more recent dSLRs have the LiveView capability allowing you to use the LCD monitor for this. Currently the D5000 is the lowest-priced Nikon with this capability.

Didnt realise I furst had to format the memory card for my new Nikon D60. Took lots of photos at the weekend but when I took out the card to download the images there was nothing on it. However I can still view the images in the camera's display screen. I have loaded the disc that came with the camera on to my computer but have not as yet been able to work out how to download the pictures. Bearing in mind the memory card was not formatted I just want to know if I will be able to download
In some cases we have found that if there is a virus on the card and if you try to read it directly on a computer having anti virus activated, the computer shows card as a blank. As the camera software is not effected by the window based virus, it ca ... Nikon Digital Cameras
NIKON D70 I have a Nikon D70 Whilst taking a series of photographs I get through to about 40 images then the camera stops shooting and the format card display comes up on the display. If the CF card is removed the images taken are ok and can be down loaded. If the card is then replaced without deleating the images then further images can be taken until the problem re-ocurs. I have tested the camera by taking a full card of images all at once and there is no problem. The issue seems to ocur if th

I dropped my camera and since then I can take photos, the camera focuses, my display is fine when viewing previously shot images and the normal display information but when the shutter is pressed all o see is black. I don't know if the images are being taken or if they aren't. I tried taking of the lense and pressing the shutter and a black box with a **** of light shows. With the lense on nothing but black shows. Is this issue with the lense or body? Any feedback is appreciated.

Importing Images Hi, When we take photos on our 500D we can preview the photos on the screen. When we place our Camera card into the computer and try to import the file they say that it is not a supported mode. Displaying the image number for example as IMG_0135.CR2 usually they will display CRW_0135. Is there a solution ?
The CR2 suffix means that the picture was taken in the RAW file format, a proprietary format. This requires that the images be processed by a software conversion to be 'readable' by the computer.
