Having problems with your Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm + 55-200mm lens ?

My nikon D60 is taking dark photos.

\015 Hi I've had my camera (Nikon D60) for about a year now, yesturday I went to a camera shop and the tendant he told me that my camera was appearing to be taking dark photos. What is the cause of this problem? Thank you for your time.\015

Answers :

The only reason the camera will be taking dark photos is when it is under exposing the image taken. This can be due to the exposure compensation set to under expose the metered exposure. Make sure the expsosure compensation is set to '0' or increase it to compensate for the dark photos.

\015\012Also inaccurately metering a scene (such as a high contrast scene) can easily fool the meter into under exposing, especially outdoors.

I do not see the error message anymore, but the camera simply do not take pictures properly. I tried formatting, etc with no result.

Yesterday i was getting out my car and the camera fell out my bag, the lens still works fine but now the camera is refusing to take more than 1 photo and saying "card is full". Tried my brothers memory card in it and its doing the same although his memory card works fine with his camera (nikon d60). Someone help!
