I tried to take a shot of the Vanderbilt baseball stadium, and it came out a little soft and out of focus. I was in Apperture priority at F8 to maximize the depth of field, exposure compensation -2/3EV, metered in the field, and tried to focus on the two guys sitting there in the midfield. Tried one shot AF, the manually tweaking it in OIS mode 2. On screen it looked fine, but on the computer screen not so much so. What could I have done to make it better? How can I set the focus to infinity?

Yes. But the operative word is "bit." Because of the small sensor size of the P90, you have a short lens. Zoomed all the way out, it's 4.6mm. A 4.6mm lens is going to give you quite a bit of depth-of-field, no matter what aperture you use. Even zoome ... Nikon COOLPIX P90 Digital Camera

I am trying to work my way throughusing fstop and Iso and shutter speed, but I am not sure which numbers refer to what when I look at the three seperate bits of info at the bottom of the LCD screen. One of them is like a ruler- is this about some type of distance or depth of field ?

The numbers in the left side of the screen is shutterspeed and aperture number.\015\012125 means the shutterspeed is 1/125 sek.\015\012F is the aperturenumber. The higher F number, the smaller aperture opening, the higher depth-of-field. ... Fuji Digital Cameras

Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera.
