I have a nikon d70 digital camera with which I have shot a few thousand exposures. A number of what seem to be minor software errors have been cropping up. For instance: I can't get the camera to "beep"; I can't format the memory cards using the 2 button system - I have to go through the menu setup; I can't select certain of the image quality options using the "quality" button - I have to go thru the manu. Certain numbers come up unreadable on the control panel. The above problems do not stop

Good evening I'm in Lima Peru on a medical mission away from the US for two weeks. I am on my 2nd week and my Nikon D200 stopped working. The top (monochrome) LCD on our Nikon D80 recently broke. I think that it is actually called the "Control Panel," and displays settings, battery life, number of pictures remaining, etc. Please note that this is not the 2.5" color LCD on the rear of the camera. I know that it is merely the LCD because the backlight works, as does portions of the LCD display itself. Does anyone know of a guide or video to perform this repair? Also, does anyone know the part number? I plan to call Nikon tomor
