Is it a Nikon mount indeed. What a question!?! Couldn't fit any other mount on the camera!!! Just a guess here, the lens is probably not aa AF-I, an AF-S or a DX lens. The D60 has limited lens usage. The lens types mentioned are the only ones that fully work on the D60. It will work with G types as long as they are also AF-I or AF-S. AF and AF-D lenses will not auto focus. Hope this helps. Will

Have Nikon Coolpix 885 dig. camera, bought in 2000, still works OK. I had been transferring the photos to my old computer using "Nikon View" 5 version 5.0.0 software that came with the camera and my Windows XP operating system with no problems. I now have a new computer using Windows 7. This is my question: Will it be OK to install the original "Nikon View" 5 disk with Windows 7 or is there a newer "Nikon View" software to work with Windows 7 and my old Coolpix 885?

My friend gave me his used camera when his wife bought him with a new camera for Christmas. Although she bought it with his money, he still liked it. I didn't see it yet but he said it had a lot more pixles than the used Vivitar he gave me. OK, it's a hand me down camera. At least it's a good brand. Anyways, he gave me a slightly used Vivicam 3750 but with no box, instructions or disc. He did however manage to find the cord. Is there anyway to get you guy's to send the drivers or start up disc f

We just bought a Nikon coolpix 4000 camera. My partner used a Vivitar screen protector system which has you use a wipe to clean the screen before applying the protector. The wipe smeared the screen and now we don't know what to use to get the smears off. Any ideas? The little cloth they provided just made it worse.

Nikon Coolpix L110 camera was bought for me for Christmas 2010. Worked fine at first, but now seems to be having problems. Batteries don't last. I was somehow roped into shooting a friend's night wedding this weekend, even though my photography "expertise" is entirely limited to shooting in natural light. I am a total amateur (and my friend knows this - I have told her over and over she's taking a big risk). So anyway, I've rented a flash and bracket and am looking for any/all the cram-style tips you can give me for programming the flash (it's a Nikon speedlight SB-800 on a D70) and the camera for best use. Thanks :)

First, you MUST practice with the flash before you shoot the wedding. If at all possible arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony with a friend/model to pose for you so you can practice with the settings until you understand what will and will not work. ... Nikon Digital Cameras

The SB-600 will probably do everything you want. One caution: To use flash off your D60 you're going to need either an external sync cord or a wireless controller. The SB-800 (and the current SB-900) can be used as a controller, the SB-600 ... Nikon Digital Cameras

My Nikon D60 fell and the lens came off. Now the lens no longer holds -- it appears that a piece of plastic has chipped which prevents the lens to click close. Where do you recommend I get it fixed. I bought it at Best Buy -- should I go there, ship to Nikon or find a local store. Is it worth repairing in the first place?

If you are no longer covered by an in-store warranty, whether an extended service or recent sale (typically 30 days) type, going back to Best Buy probably will not help (but asking about it can't hurt). \015\012\015\012Nikon Customer Supp ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens
