Nikon D70 (new 2004) Shutter release will not take picture

\015 When I press the shutter button to allow camera to auto focus and then take photo, everything locks up. No auto focus, no tripping of shutter.\015\012I have three D70 cameras and loved them. Two of my three stopped working within this last month. More than just a coincidence? I'd say so.\015\012\015\012 Went to Nikon's official site. Looked up service and support and discovered they had a technical release covering this problem on early D70 cameras and they would repair the camera free! I am waiting to call Nikon direct and speak with a live person before sending my cameras to them.\015\012Anyone have any experience like mine? JF\015

Nikon D70 I have a Nikon D70, been using it for 3 years now without a problem up until 2 months ago when I tried to take a picture the screen read "CHG" or "Charge." I assumed it meant the battery. Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens

I have a Nikon D80 with an 18-135mmNikkor lens.  It's about two months old.   Yesterday I was outside, on a snowy day,and a couple of times, I pressed the shutter release button and it would not take a picture.  I turned it on and off a couple of times, and my son looked at it and "pressed a couple of buttons", and then it worked.  This happened about three times.  I  wondered if it was because the camera was cold.  However, it was a beautiful wintery day - about 30 degrees.     Tonight, my nie
