It works on aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual, just not in program. All my other lenses do, including other Vivitar lenses, so it must be the lens. Fresh batteries in the camera. I get the FEE message, which means the lens is not set on the smallest aperture, but it IS set on the smallest aperture. I have tried dismounting and remounti

This has nothing to do with the camera, but instead it has to do with the lens you are using. The standard lens you are using has an aperture of f/4.5 which is common across many lenses. If you wish to shoot in low light you need a lower "f-stop". ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

I have a Nikon F55 fitted with a NIKKOR AF 28-100mm lense I wish to upgrade to digital. Can I use this lense on a digital body?

Nikon D3 showing a repeat fEE problem which I understand normally reflects non-alignment of the aperture ring at maximum f-stop. I have interchanged a number of standard and zoom lenses between my D3 and DX2 where the same lense works on the DX2 and shows the error message referred to on the D3.

I have a Nikon D60 and my autofocus has stopped working. It is not because of the lense because i have tried other lenses and the auto focus won't work with them either so it must be an issue with the body.

You should check custom menu setting 2, and make sure it's set to one of the auto modes. Make sure the lenses you are using are AF-S and not regular AF lenses. The D60 has no autofocus motor, so autofocus only works with AF-S lenses. \015\012 ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera

We just purchased a Nikon Coolpix L18, 8.0 Megapixel camera. We understand how we can resize the picture, after we take the picture to 160 x 120 (e-mail), page 45. What we do not understand or can not see in the user manual is to be able to set the camera to the 160 x 120 BEFORE any of the pictures are taken and to have the 160 x 120 remain as a standard.

It would actually be the picture resolution setting. The higher it is, the bigger the picture. And vice versa ... Nikon Digital Cameras

I have Nikon Coolpix S80000. It becomes blurry when I use the telephoto lense and for night photos too. What settings should I have it on to avoid this? Anne

I have a Nikon D50 which I frequently interchanges lenses. My AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm lens has 3 plastic retention flanges attaching to the camera body, and two of these have broken off. Can this be repaired without me having to be without the lens for a long time? (Either by me or a local repair service?)

Without seeing pictures, I'd say you could TRY some plastic epoxy or some type of plastic-specific adhesive. i'm assuming you have the pieces that were broken off. otherwise, i'd say get a new lens...they are relatively reasonable used. ...
