EDAWinc,
Is this a new or different style lens? You may not have it all the way on and aligned - try removing it again. Just remember to always turn off the camera before removing the lens or the SD card. Malfunctions are sure to follow if that happens. Try resetting the camera by holding down the two buttons on the top with the green dots for longer than 2 seconds (that works with the D80) The camera will not come on if the lens is not "on".

I got interupted by a power glitch while I was emailing you. Don't know if I got through so will start again. My D70 Nikon will not let me shoot a picture and displays the letters CHG in the window on top of the camera. I've not seen this before and don't have my instruction book with me as I'm traveling. I changed the battery and that didn't help--battery is fully charged. I changed the card and that allowed me to take a couple of photos, then same message. Can you help me through

Everything physically appears fine, and it turns on, the lens comes out, and I can view photos on the camera, but I cannot shoot a picture. I have a SONY Cybershot DSC W150. When I turn it on the lens goes kut and comes back in several times, then I get the error message "Turn the Power Off and On Again", but doing that does not change anything. This is one of four digicams I own (also a Nikon D90, SONY DSC F717, and a Canon) and I like the W150 for some purposes because it is compact and has a viewfinder, not just a screen. I have been unable to find a similar camera. What can I do to fix the problem? Gerry Meisels [email protected]

I got a Nikon D5000 and 18-55mm lens. When I take pictures using focal between 18-24 mm the deep of field is not sharp especially for landscape pictures. I made at list 200 pictures (the same image) test and the conclusion was: between 18-24mm focal the far field is not clear but what it is close to lens is sharp. The sharpness is coming when I change the focal to 35-55mm. I got a Nikon 24-70mm lens only for test purpose and the same. My test was on different modes that means P, S, A, M, and Aut

I have a Nikon D-80 with 18-135 kit lens. after 2 years 5 months (and thus out of warranty) very careful use, it displayed ERR and froze. No change of lens, reset etc. made any difference. The place where I bought it said it had to go to Nikon UK for repair (carriage charge GBP20). Estimate for repair is GBP150. Is there a problem with this camera/lens combination that would make it of unsatisfactory quality under the UK Sale of goods act 1979? Thanks in advance

Hello, I have a Kodak easy share z1275 and has worked well for me for almost 3 years. Used it last week with no problems, has never given me any problems. Suddenly on Saturday, I turn it on to take a picture, lens begins to retract and the camera shuts off, it appears that there is a power supply probelm. I changed batteries, even though the ones I had in it were recently installed, but went ahead and put in new ones, and it will not power on. The blue power indicator light begins to come on
