Having problems with your Nikon D70S Digital Camera with AF 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G Lens ?

The auto flash doesn't work and I can't take close up pictures. Could it be a lens issue. I'm using a lense from a 35mm Nikon N90. Can you help?

I have new Nikon D90 with 18-105 Nikon lens. The only problem with the camera, when shooting potraits in dim light without flash, the pictures get black artefacts throughout the faces and skins. I used different lenses and reset the camera setting to the factory original, but no help. Thank you for solving the problem... Hamid Jakarta, Indonesia

This has nothing to do with the camera, but instead it has to do with the lens you are using. The standard lens you are using has an aperture of f/4.5 which is common across many lenses. If you wish to shoot in low light you need a lower "f-stop". ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

I have a Canon 40D and have never replaced the original lithium battery as someone told me that rechargeable Li - ion batteries don't have a lifespan. My picture quality isn't what it use to be and the autofocus seems slow. Is this a battery issue, lens issue or what? I keep my lenses clean but have never had it serviced. The camera is about 4 yrs old. Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I have a 40D and can tell the difference between the original battery and my newer spare battery. The camera starts to have autofocus issues on the older battery before the charge is depleted. The newer battery keeps all functions until the battery ... Canon Digital Cameras

Tokina AT-X PRO 28-80mm 1:2.8 lens has recently developed a problem when mounted on my Nikon D200. The images are way too dark and my only way to obtain usable images is to bracket heavily. This lens has worked flawlessly on film Nikons and, until recently, worked flawlessly on the D200. I am now also having AF problems with the lens. When I attach any of my Nikon brand lenses - no problems. Can you help? I really love this lens.

I have this lens also but with a canon mount and loved it to death when i had film. I started to use it on the digital and like your experience it worked well for a while then started to produce faulty registered photos.. too dark and some too light. ... Digital Cameras

Nikon D100 Hi. Out of the clear blue my af lens doesn't work. No motor sound. Can use manually. Is there a motor in the lens that needs replacing? I think its only 4 years old (inhered camera). Nikon AF 70-300mm. I don't really have the money to go to camera store without indications of what I need. How costly is the motor? Also there is no light on the internal view box. Can you help? Thanks, Mary Louisville, KY

If the lens is AF (not AF-S) there is no motor in the lens. A motor in the camera turns a screw in the lens mount to focus it. If it is easy to turn it manually, my first recommendation would be to check that you didn't accidentally bump the focus ... Nikon D100 Digital Camera

I used the Nikon D90 with Lens Kit 18-200 mm, and I also bought the new Lens call Nikkor 75-300mm. But when I connected the new one (Nikkor 75-300 mm) in my camera and took some pictures, after that I couldn't take more because it has F33 Error. I changed the Lens Kit that error disappeared. My problem is how to fix F33 error with Lens Nikkor 75-300mm in my camera. So, anyone know how to fix it help me please.

I have a Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 Macro lens working on a Nokon D40X and Nikon D300. For medium to long distances the autofocus does not seem to work with this lens. I think it used to but now I notice that from about 40 feet away the autofocus does not work. The same happens with both cameras. Other lenses work fine so I don't think it is the camera. Is there any history of problems or is it a feature of the lens? thanks, Richard Brand

I.m a beginner of photography. I have a Pentax Kx and a brand new shiny DA Limited lens - 35mm 2.8 macro. I tried to take some macro shots but it couldn't even find the focus but when I use it as a normal lens, it's ok but I can't see much difference with a point and shoot. I need to develop a technically critical eye. I need an expert to help me with this lens on a regular basis. Anyone interested? And how do you charge?

I have Nikon D50 (11 months old) with two NIKON lenses - 18-55 (came with camera) and 70-300 (from my old Nikon F65). I have recently noted a spot appear in certain shots (mainly where sky is present) that is there in the same place whichever lens I use. Could this be a dust speck or similar on the CCD? If so, is there an easy way of cleaning the sensor? Regards Roland Zilz UK

I am interested in buying Nikon's new digital D60 camera what i need to know is if I can use all the Nikon lenses I have that fit my 35mm camers

I have an older pair of zoom lense Bushnell binoculars, 40mm with 7 to 21 power. I used to have a cabin in a very humid, mildewy area of Florida and it seems that the mold (mildew) has found its way into the lens whereupon it really messes up the viewing. I took the end pieces off and cleaned the insides with camera lens cleaning items and that helped, but I think the eye pieces need to be removed to finish the job. How do you do that? I'm not sure they are screwed onto the body! Has anyo

I am not familiar with this make, nor with zoom binoculars in general, but for a normal binocular of traditional design, you can take the eyepieces off together, as a unit, by dismantling the focussing mechanism. This is likely to be complicated by t ... Digital Cameras

I have a Caonon 40D. I thought I was having a lens problem at first. However after using 2 other lenses I have found out it is my Camera. No matter how clear and crisp the image is in the view finder. After the photo is taken and loaded into PS4. The image is blurry and unsharp. I have reset all camera settings to factory with Canon. And I am still getting the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It is probably due to dust on the sensor, or sensor alignment not properly done. In both cases you have to take the camera to a Canon dealer for servicing. ... Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera
