Hello. I bought my Powershot SX1 IS in April 2010, and have never felt I could get good photos with it. The 'noise' seems bad, when I playback and zoom in just one notch, definately worse, the more I zoom. The color is often poor, and the focus on close-ups is not sharp. Would you say this is the best this camera can do, or would you say there is something wrong with this particular one. (I always have it set at highest resolution , often 100 ISO, try the set of three exposures to get diffe

I'm not getting crisp, in-focus photos from my EV500 (they appear somewhat fuzzy). In a studio environment with 5500K softbox lighting, using a tripod and AF on a portrait subject, with ISO 125 in Manual and Portrait exposure. I also shot the same subject with a Cannon G10 and same settings. My Cannon photos were tack sharp, but my Olympus photos were not. Also, the Cannon colors were more realistic than the Olympus. The colors on the Canon appeared as they should using the daylight (5500K

My Canon A95 has horizontal grid lines on the lcd screen after a photo is taken. The view on the screen is normal when you are framing the photo but after you take the shot the playback of that scene has these grayish horizontal lines and the image color is washed out. Changing the batteries and the cf card makes no difference and loading the photos on Adobe Photoshop shows the same problem on the computer screen. Color Saturation I just upgraded to the Digital Rebel XT, and I noticed that my images (i usually shoot at ISO 100 w/a polarizer) are a little bland in the color saturation department. I have the camera set to Adobe RGB and am using photoshop to process the images (I usually shoot the high-quality JPGs), but I'm frustrated that the only way to get the color to match what I'm truly seeing in front of me is to pump up the saturation levels in Photoshop. I'd like the camera to capture that in the f

When trying to take a picture the color is off. It shows a purple tent on the screen, but there are old photos on there that are shown in normal color. It suddenly switched to giving everything the purple tent and has grainy lines going across the screen. I have tried to reset the settings to see if that would help but it hasn't. I haven't tried to upload any of the photos with the purple tent to see if they come up normal colors on my computer. Thank you!

Color Problems I have currently been using a Kodak 14n at my current job and have noticed something rather strange. With every picture I take, the photo has an deep magenta cast. In photoshop 7 I adjust the color either by using autocolor or by manual color adjustment. After getting the color a close as I can, I notice that there are faint sections of color vertically across the picture. One third is slightly green, the middle third is yellow, and the right third is magenta. So basically I have

I previously thought I'd lost some photos as they seemed to disappear from my camera weeks and months ago. I download photos regularly. The lost photos have now shown up - am I right to assume that they are on the built in memory? When I try to down load the photos I can see on the playback none show up.

When I view my photos I have already taken they look good until I try to zoom in, then the photos go fuzzy in multiple color stripes taking over the screen. I put mine back in my camera, took two pictures, and could zoom in on those photos and it was fine, but not on the previous pictures I have taken. I did plug my camera

Colors off Something has changed.  In the beginning (years ago) my 4500 got great interior and exterior pictures.  But now the colors are off.  And fooling around with the image in Photoshop doesn't really fix it.  There is an overall underexposure without a flash (indoors and outdoors).  And a tendency to overexposure with a flash (indoors, especially).  And the colors aren't right either.  Although there are a differences between what happens to each color, the general issue is a lack of satur
