My camera will not take multiple shots

\015 I bought my camera a few weeks ago, and it was allowing me when I would push the button to take a photo....holding it down would take multiple photo's. But now, it will not work. I have it on auto setting, I believe it has always been on that. How do I fix this??\015

Answers :

Ok, what you need to do is look at the top of your camera, around that smaller LCD screen. On the right side of the screen, you will see a button with three boxes stacked on top of each other.

You need to press that button until it displays the same icon in the TOP RIGHT corner of the smaller LCD screen right next to the button you are pressing.

That button switches the camera from Single shot mode to Multiple shot mode ( as well as a few other modes).

Hi, I have two Cannon 40D Cameras and am experiencing problems with both at the moment. One Camera is very slow after pushing the button to take a photo. I have checked all of the batteries and this is not the problem. The other camera will take 4/5 shots without a problem then as I am taking the shot I feel like the camera flutters, the lcd screen shows an error symbol and says the contacts between the lens needs cleaning. When I turn the camera on and off it fixes the problem temporarily but i

My Canon Rebel XTi has repeatedly had the Err99 message pop up, and it's to the point that it happens, at minimum, every 4-5 shots I take. I've tried cleaning the camera and lens contacts multiple times, but the problem has gotten increasingly worse and refuses to be fixed. I have a 17-85mm Canon zoom lens and I'm not sure what I should do at this point.

My 2-year old camera has a blank screen when trying to take a picture. If you go ahead and shoot, the picture processes properly--you just can't set up a shot. The menu screen shows faintly if held at a particular angle. I have charged the battery. I have turned it off and on multiple times--doing the same thing and hoping for different results!

This sounds like it could be a bad backlight on the lcd display. Before you mess with that, make sure your battery terminals inside the camera, as well as on the battery, are clean (use a qtip and alcohol, or a pencil eraser). It's also possible ... Nikon COOLPIX S200 Digital Camera

Flash Error Hi there, bought this camera about 6 months ago. I'm intermittently getting a problem with the pop-up flash. It pops up fine, but the screen gives me an error telling me it hasn't and won't take any shots. Have to keep switching it off and on and hoping it will work again. Sometimes it's a couple of days before it works again. It will take shots when I switch the camera to the 'no flash' setting, so it does seem to be just the flash. The error says that the flash release is jamming,

The error 5 can mean that there is something blocking the flash from popping up. If it is up but still get the message then you need to check to see if the little black pin/stick that lets the camera know that the flash is up, is not stuck. With the ... Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera

I have also tried two seperate CF cards. I have tried cleaning all contacts. Still it won't take a photo. The shutter will work when I use the "clean sensor" function though. Also, I have reset all settings on the camera. Anyone know why the camera isn't firing off a shot?

Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

Camera takes photos without actually "focusing" on the object. Seems their is no "prefocus" with the button. As soon as you touch the focus button, the camera automatically takes the photo.
