I am using an Olympus E-500. and am trying to use the built in flash, set to one eight or to one sixty fourth of normal output, to trigger an external flash unit. I was taking photos over the weekend with my Olympus E-500 and the eyepiece viewfinder got darker than usual. I was using a promaster 5750DX flash. My Flash stop working, do i need to replace it? The built-in flash does not stay up. I can hear the clicking sound when it wants to pop up, but it stays in place.
