Having problems with your Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens ?

No shutter release

\015 My Nikon D80 has started to show a F---- error message when in the Auto or Menual mode\015

Answers :

If your lens has an aperture ring, do note that most of these lenses require the ring to be locked at a certain position for it to work. In the course of using the lens, you may have accidentally unlocked the aperture ring and moved it out of position. This is a common problem.
\015\012To fix this error, try this:
\015\0121. Turn off camera
\015\0122. Turn the aperture ring clockwise and then lock it
\015\0123. Turn on the camera
\015\012If you still encounter the same problem, repeat the same steps but turn the aperture ring counter-clockwise. Hope this helps.

Overexposed photos?? when i hit my shutter release button, sometimes the flash doesn't pop up and the view finder goes black. (it's like the camera is taking a picture but when I release my finger from the shutter release button it doesn't release) The only way to "get out of it" is to turn the camera off then back on. when i go to playback...it is a white picture. are my settings messed up and how do i avoid this in the future. Many picture moments are missed because of this!
