FEE on the LCD panel of my Nikon n70 camera

\015 My camera won't allow me to take a picture. everything seems fine. i've read that i'm supposed to change the f-stop but i don't know how.\015

This usually occurs when you are using a lens that has a manual aperture setting ring on it (similar to the focus and zoom rings.)

Look for a ring that has a series of numbers next to it such as f3.5, f5.6, f6.7 etc. Turn the ring so that the largest of the numbers in selected.

Once this is done, the fEE error should clear and you can then set then aperture by using the control button on the camera body.

Hope this helps!

The top (monochrome) LCD on our Nikon D80 recently broke. I think that it is actually called the "Control Panel," and displays settings, battery life, number of pictures remaining, etc. Please note that this is not the 2.5" color LCD on the rear of the camera. I know that it is merely the LCD because the backlight works, as does portions of the LCD display itself. Does anyone know of a guide or video to perform this repair? Also, does anyone know the part number? I plan to call Nikon tomor

I have a new (Dec., 2009) D90. This morning I discovered that I had an "Err" message and a "CHA" message. Both were on the LCD panel on the top of the camera. I was not able to turn the camera off, and the only way to turn it off was to take out the battery. Upon reinserting the battery, everything appeared normal, but after taking one shot the problem reappeared. The interesting thing was that I took the camera body to a Nikon certified shop in New York, and they tried it with a different lens,

"busy" Error Yet another Canon 20D question. I have been shooting both film and digital at weddings for the last two weeks. I have been very impressed with the 20D (I shot Nikon for 22 years). However, I have had my share of camera errors on the 20D. Lately, it shuts down in the middle of shooting and the LCD panel reads "busy." The busy error does not go away when turning off the camera. At first I assumed that the buffer was maxed, but I'm only shooting in single shot mode. Eventually, after m

It seems to me that Nikon Point & Shoot cameras, or at least the last 2 that I have bought, have a usable life span of approx 4 or so years before the LCD's decide not to work in turn, makes the camera non usable. Display problem Hello, I've had my SD1000 for less than 3 months.
