Am I loosing my mind?? My Nikon D80 no longer displays an image while I'm composing a picture. It definitely did..I was in the middle of composing and it just shut off. It displays in playback & after the picture is taken but no longer while composing. I've had this camera for over a year & use it frequently. I took it to a camera shop and they said the d80 does not show "live view" & I must be mistaking it for d90. I definitely have the d80.

You're not nuts. I saw a guy activate live view on the d80 while doing a demonstration on a Youtube tutorial. I just can't seem to find the video nor how to activate Live View on my camera. I think I'll try contacting Nikon directly ... Digital Cameras

My Nikon Coolpix LP16 is not detected by Windows on either my PC or my son's laptop, but IS detected by our Mac laptop. I've tried different ports, different cables, reinstalled software, reset the camera -- nothing works. Nikon's tech support was not helpful. My PC runs XP, my son's laptop runs Windows 7. The camera worked fine with both then suddenly stopped working. My device manager does not detect the camera at all.

It will occasionally take a photo, not necessarily in focus, and the flash will on occasion pop, but I can't figure out what the correct triggers are. Can anyone help? Lens is 18-135mm.
