Black dot on my images

\015 I have cleand my lens, then changed lens and the black dot that appears in my images is still there. I tried cleaning the mirror and the upper image screen and the black dot still apears. I need to know how to get rid of this dot. It is in the camera body and not on the lens after extensive testing.\015

Answers :

You can carefully dust it off with an air puffer bulb if you remove the lens, put the camera in "M" and set the shutter speed to 8 seconds. Press the shutter release and gently blow air on the sensor after the mirror raises up. Make sure you're in a clean and dry area, kitchen tables do fine. You just need to be gentle.

\015\012If this doesn't dislodge the spec, then take it to a camera shop and have them clean it. They may need to send it to Nikon. You can do it yourself, but if you damage the filter that covers the sensor, you are in for a rather large repair bill. This is one of those "if you have to ask how, then you shouldn't do it" things.
Please...do not touch the mirror!!! The black dot is dust on the sensor. Google the words...digital camera sensor cleaning. You will get complete directions and where to buy the supplies.

Black, unremovable dots are probably bad pixels in the sensor. These are parts of the sensor that no longer react to light. If you don't see any issue looking through the viewfinder, then the sensor is messed up. Since you say you don't see anythi ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera

Sometimes I can get an image, but it's grainy and only shows up as blue with light on the main object. It's worked fine up until now. I've changed the batteries a few times, but i

I do not want to do this as I have read the reviews of newer cameras and realize their first two models are the best. I think we have had this
