My Olympus FE-290 hit the floor I can't get an image when I turn it on. I was able to put the pictures that were on the card onto the computer. When I came to the spot that I dropped it the next pictures(?) were just a black square on the computer. About 4 or 5 of them that I had tried to take a picture after it dropped. I can't get the last picture taken either. Jenny

I have a Sony cybershot DCS-W5. Recently when I have taken photos some of them look as if parts of the shot are double exposed with previous photos or have parts of the same picture mixed up. In addition some shots when previewed on the screen are reduced to a small square and if I try and increase the size I get message 'image size over'. This has only stared happening when I bought a new stick. I have to use an adapter because Sony stick are now smaller than previous types.

Kindly format the mem stick in Laptop or card reader and then format once in Camera menu options thru Format command and then see this actually it seems like file format has corrupted or after u bought this stick new and one more thing if ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera

Grainy, image I bought my Riccoh Caplio GX 5.1 mp three years ago. At first it took the best pictures I could wish for, but for monyhs now I am getting very variable results. Some photos are OK, but many are grainy, "pixleated" - having tiny spots of the primary colours throughout the image. There doesn't seem to be any one situation when this happens. It can be inside, outside, flash or none. The pictures also seem to be a lot darker, so photos taken inside or at night are much poorer quality,

You might have changed the settings; ISO setting too high or something else, just reset it to factory settings if you can't figure out ISO. ... Ricoh Caplio GX Digital Camera

When I take a photo with my Nikon D90 in auto mode and flash i get a dark spot on the bottom of the image on the lcd that resembles a shadow. there is no shadow in the picture. What is casuing this?

This is more than likely a shadow from your lens. The on-camera flash is in a fairly low position, and I am able to duplicate your description when using my D200 on-camera flash and a physically longer lens- in my case a 28-70 F2.8 lens. Using a hot- ... Digital Cameras

My Canon SD870 IS has been taking pictures with a black spot in the middle of all of the photos. How can I get rid of this?

Panasonic Lumix G1. Viewfinder does not focus when I look through and squeeze shutter. I can get the picture in focus by using AFS which shows the parts which are focused (with green squares), so the photo IS focused when I take it. But I can't see properly what I'm photographing.

My camera is producing spots, or freckle-like or shadow-like spots which are noticable on photos such as a clear blue sky photo. The spots are in the exact same place on photos even when I change to different lens. I know the mirror flips up for a photo, but to be safe, I have cleaned it, but that didn't help anything. Purchased camera 11/07.

CAMERA IS THREE MONTHS OLD. ON MY LAST OUTING I NOTICED A PERFECT CIRCLE SPOT ONLY IN SHOTS OF THE SKY. THE SPOT IS IN THE IDENTICAL PLACE ON ALL SKY SHOT PHOTOS NO MATTER WHAT FOCAL LENGHT IS USED. THE SPOT IS IN THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER OF ANY SHOT WHERE THERE ARE CLOUDS OR SKY. FLASH PICTURES, INTERIOR PICTURES AND THE LIKE, THERE IS NO SPOT. PLEASE HELP...RICHIE

If you have another lens, switch it and take some shots of the sky. If the spot is gone, it probably was the lens that needs cleaning/servicing. However, it's more likely that there's dirt on your CCD. On your camera's menu, select mirror lockup/cl ... Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera with 28-135mm lens

Blurry photos I get one crisp clear photo out of about 15. I don't know the reason. I have sent it in twice and they repair it (ya right) and I get the same thing. My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ?
