Trouble focusing I am using my D60 with a 18-55mm lens, i have it set on auto its been working fine until recently when it is unable able to focus when i press on the release button. All that seems to happen is the lens keep going in and out where it is trying to focus. I have removed the lens and checked the contact but its still not working help!!!

Not too many things that can do this are simple, but here are a few you can check. First, make sure you aren't too close for the lens to focus. For the 18-55, that's only about 5" from the front of the lens, so I doubt this is the problem. \ ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera

Not focusing I'm in the process of attempting to help my friend fix his DMC-FX9 camera. The problem is that it doesn't tend to focus on ANYTHING. It will focus if you zoom in [about halfway)or use macro, but it won't focus if it's not zoomed in. I tried changing the focusing modes, the photo modes. I don't know what else to do, has anyone else run into this problem? He's had the camera for to long to return it, so I'm hoping that I can help him make it usable again. Focus Problem I recently bought Olympus C-750. The real problem i have with it so far is that when I point the camera towrds the subject, its focus is adjusted automatically and the subject looks very focused and clear, but when i press the shutter button, the camera re-focuses and makes the subject blurr and in the end pictures come out very blurry. Kindly help me out with that, i.e: do i need to do some setting to avoid that??? and plus i cannot find the manuual focus option in the camera.
