Nikon d80, setting not remembered
\015 Hi,I have a problem with my Nikon d80. At some point some of the values like: shutter speed, F-number, exposure compensation and maybe some more properties, simply got stuck on the values there were set, and now whenever I change a value, it is changed, but after the several seconds, after the camera is going into "resting" mode, the value that was set returns to the "stuck" value. I was trying resting the values, but it didn't work. I feels like some electrical issue. I removed the battery and put it back with no luck. Can anyone shade some light on this issue?\015
I'm thinking it's an internal problem - probably needs fixing at Nikon. I can't think what else you can do.

Nikon D80, how do you turn off the r09, r11 and/or r17 alert (depending which Image Quality setting I have the camera set to)? I have sent the camera back to Nikon twice and twice it has come back with the r-whatever still appearing on the LCD screen once I depress the shutter button.
The r09, r11 or r17 just tells you how many pictures you can shoot before the internal memory buffer is full. It's not an error message, and I don't think there's any way to turn it off. ... Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens

The top (monochrome) LCD on our Nikon D80 recently broke. I think that it is actually called the "Control Panel," and displays settings, battery life, number of pictures remaining, etc. Please note that this is not the 2.5" color LCD on the rear of the camera. I know that it is merely the LCD because the backlight works, as does portions of the LCD display itself. Does anyone know of a guide or video to perform this repair? Also, does anyone know the part number? I plan to call Nikon tomor

I have a Nikon D80 camera that is about 1 year old. I has worked fine until about 6 months ago. Sometimes when I turn it on and press the button to take the picture nothing happens. I have to wait awhile and keep playing with the button and then it will finally take the picture and act normal. This happens inside and out. Sometimes the flash will pop up outside in direct sunlight. Do I have some settings wrong or why is it acting like this?
Are you getting a Err message? If so The ERR message is not a good thing. Read page 132 of the D80 Manual. Also, try a factory reset found on page 129 of the manual. On the left side of the camera is the terminal cover, inside below the USB connector ... Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens
